Greetings! This is my blog Above the Morgue. Welcome. If you are a first time visitor I do think it appropriate to inform you about the nature of this blog.

 

1. This blog is mostly intended for me to get my short stories and poems out in the world. However, there will also be posts about books I like and random stuff about me, life and everything else I feel like writing about.
2. I will be uploading a blog post every Thursday. The posts will be in this particular order: Book review – random post – random post – short story or poem.
3. Most of my work is influenced by horror and gothic literature, though some of my stories are also inspired by fantasy and sci-fi, the vast majority of my work will be in the two first categories mentioned here.
4. Now! Since my preferred genres of writing are not exactly PG13, I will tell you that if you are below the age of 16, then please make sure that you have your parent’s permission to read my stuff. The last thing I want is to drown in a flood of angry emails or having Google remove my blog. So please! Be aware of this.
5. Lastly I will like to remind everyone that I am not a native speaker of English, so even though I reread and go over every post, poem and story several times before I release them, it is very likely that there will be grammatical errors as well as spelling errors. I will do my best to avoid mistakes, but please do bear with me.
